[Viewed 1337 times]
Disclosed is the extraordinary synergistic potential of combining three compounds each from selective estrogen receptor modulators e.g raloxifene, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors e.g fluoxetine and dopamine (D2) receptor agonists e.g bromocriptine mesylate against status epilepticus and/or partial seizures and/or partial seizures with associated neurological disorders such as depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, parkinsonism but not limited to these. The combination also demonstrated much better anti-seizure/anti-epileptic potential than existing standard AED i.e sod. valproate against pilocarpine induced status epilepticus in swiss albino mice
