Vertical blinds are still used in countless homes, schools, offices, etc. When they get dirty, cracked or discolored from sun, they need to be replaced, which can be expensive for the average consumer.
If you are one of the many consumers who like the look of curtains or draperies but enjoy the functional aspects of vertical blinds, this product may be for you. It achieves both.
They enhance the appearance of vertical blinds without replacing them. Covers slide up each louver and snap on with Velcro. They are easily removed for cleaning without taking down the whole unit.
The covers keep blinds from clattering on a windy day. They are good insulation in winter as well as summer.
They can be mass produced in a variety of colors, prints or fabric. No special equipment is needed. All items are currently on the market. They can be made to fit snug, scrunched or fit loose (for a drapery look). They can be made with a solid on one side and print on the other, creating a different look each time the vanes are turned.
These covers give the consumer another choice in window treatments.
