Thermal driven hydrogen or ammonia reactor
[Category : - RENEWABLE ENERGY]
[Viewed 1858 times]
The present invention relates to a thermal reactor for performing water splitting or reacting water and nitrogen or air to ammonia, and to a method for preforming the reactions with limited temperature and pressure changes within the reaction chamber.
Reactions involved are:
2H2O(l) => 2H2(g) + O2(g)
2N2(g) + 6H2O(l) => 4NH3(g) + 3O2(g)
Air (2N2(g) + 0.561 O2*(g)) + 6H2O(l) => 4NH3(g) + 3.561 O2*(g)
*) O2 and other gases in air that are not Nitrogen.
Air consist of 78.084 % nitrogen
Financial informationI am looking for a business partner for further development and commercialization.
I have also other listings specifically directed towards conversion of renewable (solar) heat, alternatively nuclear heat, to renewable chemical energy.
