Our company VAM system s.r.o, located in Slovakia has been dealing with car security for more than 16 years.

VAM security® is a unique device for locking gear stick knob. It is a mechanical security system designed to lock and block the gear lever handle of BMW´s electronically controlled automatic transmissions (but can be produced literally for every electronically controlled automatic transmissions with a gear stick knob).

There exists no other similar system in the world, and, because VAM security® is going to be worldwide patented, it is the future of car security (Remark: see attachments please - The Receipt of a PCT International Application – World Intellectual Property Organization).

VAM security® is already registered and patented in Slovakia by Industrial Property Office of the Slovak Republic in the Utility model database (Link).
The most important advantages of the security system VAM security are:

- resilient material, resistant to brute force

- no need of expert installation
- compactness of the system
- high level of resistance to prying open and breaking open
- includes measures against abrasion of the lever surface
- a steel body protecting the system from drilling

A brief description of the basic features of the mechanical security system VAM
security for BMW:
- hardened plastic, from which the device is built, is also used in the armament industry
- thermal endurance of the material is from -40 °F to +257 °F
- metal plates made of quality steel are embedded in the body of the device, which
protect it from drilling
- the colors used for surfacing are certified for the car industry
- the Flock surfacing is abrasion resistant
- VAM security for BMW uses a safety lock system developed by the renowned company
ABUS - August Bremicker Söhne KG.

All used materials are high durable and lasting. They are certified for the car industry,
and are used in the aircraft and armament industry.

Financial information

The development of the current model of the security system took several years and Mr.Richard Vamos (the owner of VAM security) invested into it all his and his family’s assets with only one goal – to fight car thieves and decrease the number of stolen cars anywhere in the world.
The car companies come with new models that have already been equipped with an electronic transmission selector lever.
Mr. Richard Vamos is the only patent owner (will be worldwide patented soon..) for the production of the mechanical security system for the electronic transmission selector levers not only for BMW, but also for any other car type and model.
