It is a technology allowing activation of pedestrian sing of traffic lights by bluetooth technology which allows activation of this sign contactlessly from a distance using a smartphone or a similar device using bluetooth technology. It has a hardware and software part. The hardware part of the technology is a custom designed bluetooth device connected to the control unit of the traffic light in such a way that it is possible, using a custom made software installed in the smartphone or a similar device, which sends an impulse, to activate pedestrian sign. The condition is obtaining a short enough distance between the smartphone and the traffic light pedestrian sign box, so that it it is possible to pair both devices.
