The technology is designed to prevent roll down of vehicles on slopes while starting from a stationary position.

Drivers find it difficult to start moving forward without rolling backwards while starting their vehicle from a stationary position on an upward slope. They either have to use ‘half-clutch’ or press both the brake and accelerator together with their right foot or use the hand brake to prevent the dangerous roll back of the vehicle. All of these methods are difficult and few drivers have the requisite skill to do these properly without rolling back.

The Inventor has developed a new technology which prevents roll down of the vehicle in such situations. The driver can comfortably put the vehicle in first gear with the clutch pressed with the left foot, release the brake and press the accelerator with the right foot. The technology works in reverse gear also while reversing back upwards on a slope.

The technology is applicable to all types of automotive vehicles including multi-axle vehicles. The technology requires modifications in the gearbox assembly and is fairly simple and inexpensive to implement.
