The arms / pistons deploy off gas propelling the arm system and plate toward the closing barrier (collision object) a few feet 3-4 retracting upon the computer tuned Pressure Release Valve. As an air bag endows the cabin with mounds of safety (deflating inside of precision to dampen the head limb) so too will this system endow safety on the whole car. The piston chambers will rotate shortly after leaving the enclaving body to suit a centered collision maintaining integrity. A brief sensor rests ahead of the collision plate to measure the closing objects weight or in all cases forgiveness. Likely a lighter piston which is measured for retraction rate in the context of the observed speed. Collision plate will split / spring vertically for the quality connection of a varied bumper heighth.
